Effective Stretches to Alleviate Neck Pain

3. Chin Tuck

- How to Do It: Sit or stand with your spine straight. Gently tuck your chin towards your chest, creating a double chin. Hold for 5-10 seconds, then relax. Repeat 10 times.

4. Upper Trapezius Stretch

- How to Do It: Sit or stand with your back straight. Place your right hand on your left shoulder. Gently pull your right elbow down towards your right hip while tilting your head to the right. Hold for 15-30 seconds. Repeat on the other side.

- Benefits: This stretch targets the upper trapezius muscles, which often hold tension and contribute to neck pain.


5. Shoulder Shrugs

- How to Do It: Stand with your arms at your sides. Lift your shoulders up towards your ears, hold for a few seconds, and then release them back down. Repeat 10-15 times.

- Benefits: Shoulder shrugs help to relax the muscles in your neck and shoulders, reducing tightness and discomfort.
